Are your wedding packages customizable?

Yes, we customize the wedding packages to meet your wedding day vision and needs for that day. We can add an hour or reduce the package by an hour to meet your needs. Weddings are expensive enough; there is no reason to pay for something you don't need! But we have to get every shot, so if you need more hours of coverage, we can do that too!

Is an engagement session required?

No, while we do suggest an engagement session so you can ensure you are comfortable in front of the camera, you can customize your package to add an hour to your wedding day coverage in lieu of your engagement session. Just one of the great benefits to being able to customize your own day!

How far in advance should we book with you?

We recommend booking as early as possible—especially if your date falls in peak wedding season. Most couples reserve their spot 9 to 12 months in advance, and popular dates tend to go quickly. That said, we occasionally have openings for shorter timelines, so feel free to reach out no matter where you are in the planning process. We’d love to see if we’re a match!

Do you require a deposit to book with you?

Yes, we do require a deposit to secure your date. A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are needed to officially reserve your wedding on my calendar. This ensures we are fully committed to your day and turn away other inquiries for that date. Once booked, you’ll receive a timeline guide and planning resources to help everything run smoothly.

Can we make payments?

Of course! Weddings are expensive. Once we secure your initial deposit to reserve you wedding date, we can offer the ability to make payments over the course of your engagement to fulfill your wedding photography contract.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept several types of payments, to ensure you are comfortable with your payment options. We prefer Credit Card & Debit Cards with Square Processing or Stripe. But also accept Cash, Checks, PayPal, Venmo & Zelle transactions. Our galleries also accept Apple Pay.

Is there a fee or extra charge for travel?

We do not charge an extra fee if your celebration is less than an hour from us, however yes, there is a travel fee for locations outside our standard coverage area.  We love exploring new places, and we want to make sure we arrive prepared and on time. The travel fee helps cover mileage, time, and any necessary accommodations depending on the distance. If you share your venue location, we’re happy to provide a detailed quote.

Can we talk about our session and/or wedding photography vision?

Do you help with posing?

Absolutely—we’ll guide you every step of the way. Whether you’re camera-shy or a total natural, we make sure you feel comfortable and confident. We’ll offer gentle direction to help you look your best while still capturing authentic moments. Our goal is to make posing feel effortless and fun, don't worry you won't have to worry about what to do with your hands, we promise!

Do you have a sample shot list?

Yes, we do have a sample shot list I can share! It includes all the classic moments—like getting ready, first look, ceremony highlights, family portraits, and reception details—plus some creative ideas to make your gallery feel personal and complete. We will have a scheduled discussion to customize the list based on your timeline, priorities, and any special requests you have. Our goal is to capture everything that matters most to you and even more.

Do you offer prints, albums and downloads?

Yes—we offer all three! We offer beautifully crafted albums and professional-quality prints that bring your memories to life as well as the option for downloads. Whether you’re looking for a keepsake to pass down or wall art to showcase your day, I’ve got options to fit your style.

Are you insured?

Absolutely! We are fully insured. We carry liability insurance to ensure peace of mind for both our clients and venues we work with. If you need a certificate of insurance, or have specific requirements, we are happy to provide documentation upon request.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes, absolutely—we always bring backup gear. Your wedding day is too important to leave anything to chance. We carry extra cameras, lenses, batteries, and memory cards to make sure we are fully prepared for any unexpected hiccup. Our goal is to keep everything running smoothly so you can focus on celebrating.
