I am Katie

Over the last few years, I've learned that successfully photographing a wedding requires so much more than good technical knowledge. It's about knowing how to be real. I build trust quickly and effortlessly with every guest - in every situation - so I can portray them as naturally and authentically as possible. I find myself hiding in the shadows to capture the gentleness of moments and in the next moment I'm right up there with the craziest on the dance floor, sucking up the energy. These are the images that will keep the memories and feelings fresh for generations to come.

Thanks to my children, what had started many years ago as a hobby capturing their life memories has turned into a rewarding career alongside of my business partner and sister-in-law, Ashley. Now that my children are all grown and thriving on their own, I focus my attention on my couples. So, who am I to you? I am your photographer, your timekeeper, the boutonniere straighter, a dress fluffer and your friend.

With a calming and friendly approach, you may find me shedding a tear while you say your vows, singing along to your favorite songs or even doing a few dance moves while your guests are getting down on the dance floor.

My utmost goal is to be in the moment with you, making sure you, your fiancé and all of your guests are comfortable in front of the lens. Your comfort ensures we tell the clear story of your special day without you even realizing you are being photographed. And, when this happens, beautiful memories are created. My photography style is classic, timeless with true-to-life images that can be shared on your wall for a lifetime. These images become your family’s legacy, and my goal is to them to tell the true story of your beautiful day.

Why do I feel wedding photography is so important? Because when the wedding is over and the venue is left behind, the flowers will wilt, the cake has been eaten, the last call for alcohol was made, the limo drove away, the tux was returned, the gown gets boxed, the makeup was washed off, and your hair is let down, … the photography is the only part of the day that truly lasts forever and keeps all of those other memories alive!  So, if you are having a small intimate affair or a big blowout wedding, I want to celebrate with you!

I'm Ashley

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to all things creative—photography, art, calligraphy, DIY projects, and everything in between. I am just a creative soul.

A few years ago, my husband gifted me a camera, re-sparking a passion that had been quietly waiting in the wings. As life does, our life took a detour as we poured our energy into remodeling our home from the ground up, bringing our home to life.

For the past year I am I'm back behind the camera—and it feels amazing! I’ve had the joy of photographing weddings alongside my talented sister-in-law, and I’m now expanding into family sessions, couples, seniors, and any moment that tells a story. My style leans toward soft, warm tones with a documentary feel. I love capturing those quiet, candid moments—the ones that often go unnoticed but mean everything.

While Katie is busy posing the bride and groom, you’ll probably find me off to the side, snapping a sweet exchange between grandma and the flower girl. At the heart of it all, I do this because I love creating memories. Photography is more than just images; it's about bringing your memories to life. Photography allows me to freeze time—to preserve the laughter, the quiet glances, the messy joy, and the fleeting moments that make life beautiful.
